When you contact us, we may collect your name, email address, business name, enquiry category, message and any drawings or other files you choose to upload. Avoid uploading confidential information before an appropriate confidentiality arrangement is agreed.

3. Why we use it

We use enquiry information to reply, assess proposed work, prepare quotations and plan delivery. We will share enquiry details with independent specialist contacts only if you agree to an introduction or otherwise authorise it. Confirm lawful bases for each purpose before publishing.

4. Third-party service providers

If the contact form is enabled, messages and optional files will be processed by Basin (usebasin.com) and may be stored on its systems. Uploaded files can be retrieved through links in enquiry notifications. Our email and hosting providers may also process relevant data. Confirm actual providers, data locations, international transfers and agreements before publishing.

5. Retention and security

We keep enquiry details and uploaded files for [INSERT ACTUAL RETENTION PERIOD AND CRITERIA]. On the free Basin plan, the submission record retention is currently 30 days; this does not replace a company-level retention policy. Confirm access restrictions, deletion practices and backup procedures before publishing.

6. Your rights
